It has a 1.3-megapixel color sensor, a PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor, 6x digital zoom capabilities, and a 145-degree field of view (FOV). But what makes this doorbell different from other smart video doorbells is its 3:4 aspect ratio. The 3:4 ratio is unique and not necessarily found in smart video doorbells. Use Google Assistant smart displays to view live video from your Google Nest Cam day or night.GearBrainYou can connect with your ADT home security system if you have a Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa-enabled device. However, each voice platform offers different controls for you to use when controlling your ADT system. For instance, if you have Google Assistant smart speakers or displays, you can use voice commands to check on the status of your ADT system. You can arm or disarm the system and use voice commands to control your smart lights, locks, and thermostat. And if you have a Google Assistant-enabled smart display, you can see live video from any Google Nest Cam or video doorbell. But you will not get this feature without an Alexa-enabled smart display. You can only use voice commands with your ADT system. Something to think about if you are planning on getting an ADT system and have Amazon Alexa smart displays, which you want to view videos from your smart security cameras and doorbells.

As you know, smart televisions now have Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in. In the interim, know ADT does offer a few more smart devices to connect to your ADT system. If you want good WiFi, Google Nest Wi-Fi is compatible and can provide a superior wireless connection for your smart devices. And if you want smart lights, ADT offers its own smart light bulbs to connect to your system. The other smart devices that work with your ADT system fall under the ADT brand. These include smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, flood sensors, and new health devices, like ADT Emergency 2-Button Panic. Each of these can easily be added to your system when you sign up. If you currently own leak detectors or smoke/CO2 sensors, sorry, you cannot connect them to your ADT system.
