TP-Link is adding two new security cameras to its line up, both part of the Kasa brand and both supporting 24/7 recording. There are also two new Kasa Smart Wi-Fi smart plugs to its line of smart plugs, one for inside a home and one for outside, and both work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The first security camera is the Kasa Spot, at $44.99, which features 2K HD video recording and the ability to capture movement or activity from up to 30-feet away, even in darkness. The camera works 24/7, and has AI technology, meaning it can recognize people while also picking up on motion and sound. There's also a built-in microphone and speaker.

When paired with the Kasa Smart app, the camera can send push alerts if activity zones are breached, or if settings around detection and trigger modes are activated.

Video can be stored on an microSD card, or in the cloud for 30 days if someone subscribes to a Kasa Care subscription.

The Kasa Spot Pan Tilt is a bit more expensive at $49.99, and also has 2K HD video with 4MP resolution, meaning if you zoom in you can still capture solid details. There's a unique feature in this camera called Starlight Night Vision, which lets people record color video in very low light. The camera can track motion and keep the action in view, and you can also activate Patrol Mode with the device, putting in specific areas you want monitored, which the camera will focus on at certain times.

As with the Kasa Spot, video storage can be put on an microSD card, or in the cloud for 30 days if someone subscribes to a Kasa Care subscription.

Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug

The new Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug is small, and will fit into a socket without blocking other outlets — not an uncommon issue. Controlled via the Kasa Smart app, devices plugged into the new Mini Plug can then be managed and scheduled. And the Mini Plug also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Samsung Bixby as well. (Apple HomeKit is not supported.)

These can be picked up for $12.99 for one, $16.99 for a two-pack and $29.99 for a four-pack.

Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug

The new $24.99 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug has a Wi-Fi reach of up to 300 feet, and to AC outlets can end up working together or controlled on their own. The Kasa Smart app controls devices plugged into the new Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug which has an IP64 weather rating, and it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
