September 20, 2016 - TectonicVR, a startup VR developer, has partnered with Ironbelly Studios Inc., a Montreal based video game service provider, to develop a new open world medieval sandbox VR game called Yore VR (YVR). The new partnership will see Ironbelly Studios taking the lead in development.

"We have been working with indie developers for years to offer our services at affordable prices in order to level the playing field with larger studios" said Ryan Wiancko, Managing Director of Ironbelly Studios. "We aim to bring this efficiency as well as a long history of working with Unreal 4 and VR into the development process in order to help deliver the first open world sandbox game built from the ground for VR."

Yore VR is an open world medieval VR sandbox game built from the ground up in VR and heading to Early Access on September 31st. Players will start in a serene forest surrounded by lush trees. A nearby village plays host to several activities including archery practice, blacksmithing and smelting.

Ironbelly Studios Inc. is a creative and technical service partner that has worked with over 300 independent studios since their founding in 2009.

TectonicVR is a small studio established in 2016 with Yore VR being their first title.
