It looks like Apple is now very close to announcing a pair of new products, in the form of the 2020 iPhone SE and the company's long-awaited AirTags device-trackers.
First, the new iPhone. Set to be a cut-price handset to follow on from the original iPhone SE from 2016, the new model is believed to take the body and display of the iPhone 8, but will it with Apple's latest processor to give it a major performance boost.

It was thought the handset might be called the iPhone 9, as Apple skipped this number when it announced the iPhone 8 and X. But a $40 Belkin screen protector appeared yesterday on Apple's website, with the title "InvisiGlass Ultra Screen Protection for iPhone SE/8/7."
The original iPhone SE was considerably smaller than the iPhone 7 and 8, so this sounds like the new SE will have the same 4.7-inch screen as the other models. It was previously claimed that the new iPhone SE will be offered in white, black and red, and offer storage options of 64, 128 and 256GB. Pricing isn't known, but it should land somewhere around the $400 level.

The leak comes just a day after another case arrived at a BestBuy store, with documentation stating it is intended for a new, as-yet unreleased model of iPhone.
On the same day, a support video appeared on Apple's YouTube channel clearly showing the name of the company's yet-to-be-announced AirTags. The video has since been deleted, but Appleosophy was able to grab a screenshot. In a shot of the iPhone's Find My iPhone settings page, text states: "Offline finding enables this device and AirTags to be found when not connected to Wi-Fi or cellular."
Rumored for several months now, AirTags are expected to be very similar to the Tile Bluetooth trackers that we have previously written about. It is expected that these will be coin-sized and used to attach to products that are not otherwise connected, such as bags, wallets, cameras and other possessions that could be lost or stolen.

They are then expected to connect to an iPhone via Bluetooth, and the user will be alerted if they lose connection, suggesting you have left the item behind by mistake.
A launch date isn't known for the AirTags, but with the current lockdown situation due to the coronavirus pandemic, we expect Apple to announce the AirTags (and new iPhone SE) via a press release in the coming weeks.
