Next week in Las Vegas, the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center and manufacturers of leading smart home products will be unveiling their latest gadgets to help make smart homes smarter. One company, ConnectSense will be launching their new In-Wall outlet which was built upon the success of their original line of external smart plugs.

In a smart home, there are two ways for you to turn your in-wall outlet into a smart wall outlet. One is with an external smart plug which you plug directly into the wall socket. The other way is to install a smart in-wall outlet. The new Smart In-Wall Outlet from ConnectSense is one of these new smart in-wall outlets which connects directly to your home Wi-Fi and allows you to control any appliance or device you plug into it using an app, built-in touch controls or voice control from a third party device like Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

ConnectSense's new Smart In-Wall Outlet is integrated with Apple HomeKit technology providing quick and powerful access to control all your devices plugged into the smart outlet from anywhere in the home via Siri voice commands through an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, or by using the Apple Home app. You will also be able to control a growing list of other HomeKit-enabled products from many different manufacturers. Additionally, ConnectSense will be adding support for other smart home ecosystems in 2018 for the In-Wall Outlet and other ConnectSense products.

In addition, ConnectSense's new Smart In-Wall Outlet can be used in commercial environments such as office buildings, airports, factories, universities, and IT locations which is a nice feature for small businesses. Business will be able to use the Smart In-Wall outlet in various networking options. Commercial customers will be able to choose their connectivity type dependent on the network used.
