Samsung to show off folding smartphone alongside Galaxy S10 on February 20
As you may have missed during the madness of CES 2019, Samsung has confirmed it will announce the new Galaxy S10 smartphone at events in San Francisco and London on February 20.
The company is expected to announce three versions of the S10, and it is highly likely that at least one model will feature a 'hole-punch' front camera, where the display notch used by most phone makers is replaced with a small circular cut-out in the top-right corner for the selfie camera.

But away from the Galaxy S10, it also looks like Samsung will reveal more about its upcoming folding handset. First shown off at the company's developer conference in November - but only as a heavily disguised prototype - the phone has a regular display on the outside, but folds open to reveal a larger screen inside.
Now, a billboard has been spotted at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France. Featuring text written in the Hangeul Korean script the billboard is translated as: "The future unfolds. February twentieth", according to Samsung itself.
It therefore doesn't take much detective work to predict that Samsung will use its Unpacked events in San Francisco and London, which take place simultaneously from 1am PT, to talk about the folding phone.
The device is yet to get an official name, but Samsung says the screen technology it uses is called Infinity Flex Display, and it is claimed the handset is known internally as the Galaxy F, the Galaxy Fold, and simply the Fold.
We will likely see more of all of these devices at Mobile World Congress, the telecoms event which takes place in Barcelona between February 25-28, and where Samsung usually reveals its new Galaxy flagship. The three version of S10 are expected to include a regular model, a larger S10 Plus, and a simpler, cheaper S10 Lite. A 5G version of the S10 is expected to launch later in 2019, as networks supporting the new technology become available.
The folding phone is expected to go on sale in April, and Samsung has said repeatedly that it will be sold internationally and isn't intended to be a niche product available only in select markets.
