Reserved Elon Musk says Tesla truck will 'blow your mind clear out of your skull'
Elon Musk has said a Tesla electric truck, to be unveiling for the first time at a media event on November 16, will "blow your mind clear out of your skull and into an alternate dimension."
The extravagant claim was made on Twitter on November 12, as the billionaire entrepreneur appeared to be spending another night camping on the roof of his electric car company's battery facility, better known as the Gigafactory.
Musk posted a photo of sunset at the Gigafactory, where he recently said he has been camping out with colleagues to save on the 30-minute drive to hotels in the nearest town, Reno, in Nevada.

Tesla has been working on an electric truck for some time, and photos reportedly of the vehicle appeared online earlier this year. It is believed to have a range of between 200 and 300 miles - not much compared to some of America's diesel trucks and their 1,000-mile range, but still adequate for regional work.
Musk's tweet read: "Tesla Semi Truck unveil to be webcast live on Thursday at 8pm! This will blow your mind clear out of your skull and into an alternative dimension. Just need to find my portal gun..."

It is thought that the trucks will make use of Tesla's Autopilot self-driving technology already used in the Model S and Model X cars. It has also been speculated that Tesla will sell the trucks to haulage companies without batteries, as these will be leased separately.
How to watch Tesla truck launch online
More details will be revealed at an event held at Tesla's California headquarters on November 16 at 8pm local time. Musk says there will be a live webcast to watch the event online.
The event was originally scheduled for October, but was delayed by Musk to let Tesla address "bottlenecks" in production of its latest car, the Model 3.
