Design Your Own Drone
Drone Bling MIT is pushing out a new system that lets users design, simulate flight and finally construct their own drone. Small, large, quadcopter or however many rotors you want, the computer program lets you take into account how much you want the drone to be able to carry, how long you want the battery time to be, and other factors. The program comes out of MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, which is going to present a paper on the program next week. But in the meantime, if you're code-savvy, you can get the files on GitHub now.
